Tasting Notes

Colour: bright cherry red
Aroma: black cherry, macerate strawberries, chocolate
Palate: cranberry, blueberry, vanilla, bold
Cellar: drink now but will improve with age over the next 5 years
Occasion

As a bit of a different take on Pinot Noir, think outside the box for this one. Pinot and Pilates? Cards Against Humanity? MAFS?
Winemaking

Region: Yarra Valley
Vineyard: Racecourse Vineyard, Yarra Glen
Process: De-stemmed and crushed berries
Fermentation: Open pots with daily plunging
Ageing: French oak hogsheads, 12 months, 30% new
Alcohol: 13%
Vintage Notes

Vintage 2025 gave us time – time for the grapes to ripen perfectly, time for us to pick in an orderly way, time to spend in the cellar perfecting the transformation from grape juice to delicious wine. The season started warm but cooled down during the crucial month of March.
