A complex and intense chardonnay with lemon and white peach, as well as some spicy and toasty oak influence. The palate has intense lemon and a flinty struck-match thread with grilled lemon, toasted spice and grilled hazelnut. Smoothly textured.
The 2023 vintage was a cooler thanks to the La Niña phenomenon. The cool conditions allowed for the gentle ripening of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay without any major heat spikes. This has translated to lovely acid and bright fresh fruit characters.
